Nelly is bringing his latest BLIZZARD MUSIC TOUR 5.0, to MTS Centre on Tuesday, March 22. The Grammy-winning, multiplatinum artist is making his first ever tour stop in Winnipeg after 10 years in the music spotlight. He recently made a powerful return to the Billboard charts with “Just a Dream,” the platinum lead single from his sixth album titled 5.0. Nelly burst onto the rap and hip-hop scene in 2000 with his breakthrough album Country Grammar. Since then, according to Billboard he has ranked third among the best-selling artists of the 2000s. Nelly followed up his major debut with his second album titled Nellyville in 2002. His sophomore release entered the Billboard 200 chart at No. 1 and went on to sell more than six million units, earning Nelly his first two Grammy awards for the ubiquitous hit singles “Hot In Herre” (Best Male Rap Solo) and “Dilemma” (Best Rap/Sung Collaboration).
