Cher Maendel is a local singer/songwriter you may remember from the Top 32 of Canadian Idol's 2005 season.  Since her national television debut, she's written and recorded music with Winnipeg legend Chris Burke-Gaffney, appeared as a guest vocalist on Kid Canada's single "Gotta Be Me",  and lent her vocal talents to the latest Voldis & The Melodicas album.  You can also check out her version of "This Little Light Of Mine" on Hot103's "We Are Family" compilation benefitting the Children's Hospital.  Cher is currently putting the finishing touches on her first single set to be released this fall.
