We received a call this morning about a horse that got loose around HWY 8 and the Perimeter. It turns out it was a moose. I went to investigate further. Here's the calls that came in and some video of me and my friend Dave tracking the moose. What a day!!!

We finally got the pictures back from the Black Eyed Peas meet and greet. Will.i.am never showed up, but that's ok because I really just wanted to meet Fergie. They were all super nice and put on a wicked show.  What a night! This picture is definitely going on my wall of fame. Sweet! 

I have not been this excited to see a movie in a long time. It incorporates my favourite premise to have in a movie...creatures that eat people! I don't care if it's birds, crocodiles, sharks, bears, whatever, i'm in. Movies like this are usually poorly made with terrible acting. I love them! This particular movie is in 3D. Sweet! I tried to see Avatar twice, but it was sold out on both occasions. This will be my first 3D experience and I could not be more pleased with my selection. Here is a list of my 5 favourite creatures that eat people movies:

 

5. Anaconda. Giant snake...people are eaten.

4. The Ghost and the Darkness. Two massive lions...people are eaten.

3. Orca, The Killer Whale. Vengeful Killer Whale...people are eaten.

2. Lake Placid. Big crocodile...people are eaten.

1. Jaws. Gigantic Shark...people are eaten.

Once again the Discovery Channel is devoting an entire week to sharks. I live for Shark Week. My fascination with sharks began when I was a child. As soon as I saw the movie "Jaws", I was hooked. Since then i've seen every and any movie that has a shark in it. Jaws 1-4, Shark Attack 1-3, Deep Blue Sea, Open Water, Red Water, Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus, and the list goes on. My love for sharks has also caused me some problems... mentally. You see, i've had the pleasure of swimming in the ocean on more than one occasion. Every time I have, there is always this one moment where something just doesn't feel right.
