Jets fan for life!!!

Why should you win Winnipeg Jets season tickets? Here are a few reasons why I should win a pair of season tickets. I was raised in a small town MB as a die hard Jets fan. I was only able to attend a handful of games as a child as I needed a ride to the city to watch them but boy did I watch some dandies at the old barn. I was there when Mario Lemieux played his last game in Winnipeg. I was also there when Selanne scored his 52nd, 53rd and 54th goals vs Quebec to surpass Mike Boss rookie goal record. And most importantly I was there on April 28th, 96 to see the Jets last ever game. I turned 16 in Feb of 96 and was finally able to drive myself to the games in Winnipeg, only to have them leave 2 months later. Since 1996 I have watched games in Edmonton, Minneapolis, Denver and Miami. I have chanted GO JETS GO at everyone of those games as well as at the World Junior’s in Winnipeg in 99 and Grand Forks in 05. I wore my Hawerchuk or Selanne jersey to everyone one of those games. And of course, I am one of those guys who you still see wearing his Jets toques all winter long. I can’t afford to buy a full set of season tickets to the Jets games so I would greatly appreciate some consideration in winning this contest. And with my first born child due this May, there is no better tradition I could think of starting than this.
