Why should you win Winnipeg Jets season tickets? My mom was a single mother of three so she couldn't afford to take me to many games. It was hard not to be able to see my beloved Jets as often as my friends did, but I realize how lucky I am to have a mom that worked so hard and sacrificed to buy me tickets when she could. The years of the Jets brought me many good memories such as getting grandma interested in hockey and going together to the Jets Wive’s carnivals, Keilback’s play by play, White Outs, and screaming my head off from row 42. I always had hope, and here we are on the brink of bringing NHL hockey back and if I won this contest it would go to show all those nay-sayers that believing all those years, that the Jets would be come back home, has finally paid off and that I would have something to show for my loyalty. I would really love to be able to have season tickets for the new team coming to Winnipeg. Grandma and I have gone to Moose games over the years, but I would love to be able to bring her to some NHL games while I still can. I would also love to continue the tradition of going to hockey games with my now 15-month-old daughter, Rylee, who I hope grows up to love the Jets as much as I do. I would love for both of them to experience another white-out like we did 15 years ago. Lee “Leemu” McCarthy
